Before you make a decision to purchase a timeshare based on a Hotel Rewards Points Program be sure you compare the true value of the benefits you receive.  Timeshare resales offer substantial financial savings that can more than offset the value of incentive Rewards Points given at the time of sale.  Trading your Timeshare usage for points often does not make sense when you compare the value of the timeshare usage you are giving up with the value of the benefits you receive.
